Family Summary:
This family has the most adorable 7 month old baby boy! He is a very happy baby, who is observant, curious and laid back. He really loves to be in the mix of the action each day with his family. This family is seeking a short term nanny for their son who will be warm and very friendly, a person who doesn’t need a lot of direction. They want their nanny to feel comfortable and be able to flow well with their family. You should be responsible, on time and a great communicator. Their nanny should have a warm spirit, be loving and kind and really enjoy being with their son each day. There are two other children in the home part time ages 4 and 2.5. The nanny will not be responsible for care of the toddlers. They are seeking a candidate who is experienced with children this age and understands all of the developmental stages of children in this age group. Their ideal nanny is someone professional but easy going, someone who will communicate well and take initiative around their home to make sure things are in order and organized each day. You should be willing to be active, create new and fun activities each day and really enjoy spending time with their son. Mom and Dad will both be in and out of the home each, however, they are very busy and really want their nanny to help support them in their parenting style. They are excited to meet with new candidates and are going to be so wonderful to work with.
This position is offering $30 per hour
The schedule for this position will be:
- Monday through Friday 12:00pm until 5:00pm
- They will need their nanny to be somewhat flexible with these hours and they are flexible also. If you are not available for this schedule please let me know what would work best for you.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Childcare Related Responsibilities:
- All comprehensive child care
- Reading, singing, tummy time
- Being active, fun, playful
- Engaging, playing, reading, planning activities, taking walks
- Helping him meet and exceed all developmental milestones
- Educational age appropriate activities, rotating toys weekly
- Children’s laundry, linens, wash, dry, put away
- Organizational projects, keeping home tidy each day
Household/Assistant Related Responsibilities:
- Cleaning up after self and child
- Washing bottles, pump parts, etc
- Kitchen, cleaning high chair, floor, wiping counters daily
- Load and unload dishwasher
- Taking out trash if needed
- Changing/emptying diaper pail as needed
- Organizational projects, letting family know when things are needed
- General help around the home as needed

Requirements:
- Reliable, on time, active and very energetic
- Experienced with infants, engaging, proactive, consistent

- Ability to take initiative and create age appropriate activities

- Honesty and open communication, hard worker, ability to work well as a team with parents
- Professional, loyal, loving, hands-on, nurturing
- No cell phone or electronic use around child
- No social media posting of their son, privacy is important in this role
Considerations:
- Length of Commitment: ASAP until 1/20/23 or 2/14/23
- This family prefers their nanny to be full vaccinated for Covid 19
- Pets: No pets in the house
