Family Summary:

Nannies, what an amazing family we have here for you!  This family is expecting their first baby in February and are very excited to welcome an amazing career nanny into their family!  They are seeking a candidate who is experienced, loving, kind, proactive and focused on education and development. Their ideal nanny is someone who is very reliable and seeking a long term position. You should be understanding of child development and discovery and allow their child to explore the world around them while having a healthy balance. A nanny who will read to their child and who is very thoughtful, creative, and engaging, while making sure their child experiences new things each day. They are seeking a nanny who will be very supportive of their family values and needs. Dad works outside of the home full time while Mom will be working at home in her office when she is not traveling. You need to be safety-minded and have recent infant experience. They need you to be confident and good with dogs as their dogs are part of their family. Nannies this family is truly amazing and we know they will be wonderful to work with. You should have a really warm personality, and really love spending time with their child. They really want their baby to feel loved, someone who is very invested in and genuinely cares.  The family enjoys open communication and would love for their nanny to be a great communicator as well. 

This position is offering $25 per hour with guaranteed hours, paid holidays, and paid vacation.

The schedule for this position will be:

• Monday through Thursday 8:00am until 6:00pm (40 hours per week guaranteed)
• Flexibility for dates nights would be ideal

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Childcare Related Responsibilities:   

• All comprehensive infant care, feeding, changing
• Keeping a log each day of sleep, feeding, diaper changes
• Helping to maintain a sleep schedule and routine 
• Engaging, playing, reading, planning activities, walks
• Taking child to activities once older 
• Helping baby meet and exceed all developmental milestones
• Educational age appropriate activities, child led learning
• Washing bottles, dishes, etc. 
• Baby laundry, linens
• Organizational projects

 

Household Related Responsibilities:

• Cleaning up after self and child
• Kitchen, cleaning high chair, floor, counter
• Load and unload dishwasher, baby dishes/bottles sanitizing
• Changing crib/changing table cover/diaper pail 
• Organizational projects
• Running errands if needed
• Meal prep would be ideal
• Family does have a housekeeper who comes once a week

Requirements:

• Reliable, on time, active and very energetic
• Experienced with infants, engaging, proactive, consistent 
• Ability to take initiative and create activities
• Maintaining health and safety at all times
• Love experiencing and teaching new things
• Honesty and open communication, hard worker
• Professional, loyal, loving, hands-on, nurturing, team player
• Careful attention to health guidelines both within and outside of the home
• No cell phone or electronic use around baby 

Considerations:  

• COVID-19: This family does not require the Covid vaccine
• Up to date – TDAP and Flu are required
• Length of Commitment: One year to start, ideally very long term
• Pets: 2 Dogs who are very loving and active. Nanny should be open to some pet care, feeding, giving water, letting in and out during the day.
• Possible house and pet sitting may be needed if nanny is available
• Some travel and overnights may be needed if the nanny is available
