This family is seeking a candidate who is energetic and really loves her job as a nanny. Their oldest daughter is 5 years old and is very outgoing, caring, energetic, loves fashion, tennis and dance. Her younger sister is 2 years old and is curious, funny, energetic, determined, caring and imaginative. Their ideal candidate will be loving, caring, active, someone who will have energy and be able to be on the go. A nanny who is forward thinking, planning playdates and creative activities. You should be able to jump in and really be interactive with the girls. A bubbly personality and someone who is eager to really spend quality time with their family. You should be mature yet still playful and able to bond with the girls. You should also be very passionate about your career in childcare, and experienced with these age groups. They are seeking someone who is high energy, focused on education and the development of the girls. They do want their nanny to research, plan and carry out daily activities for the girls, someone who will keep them busy and active all while learning and having fun! You should want to build a strong relationship with their family and be able to maintain professional boundaries and privacy while working with them. Mom and Dad both will be working at home and be in and out during the day, working as a team is a must for this family. Their new nanny should have a zest for life and enjoy traveling and experiencing new things. This family does travel domestically and would like for their nanny to travel with them to locations such as Idaho, Chicago, Nantucket, Disney World and other locations. This position is offering $22 – $25 per hour with guaranteed hours, vacation time, paid sick time and paid holidays, and mileage reimbursement
The schedule for this position will be:
- Ideally Monday, Wednesday, Friday 7:30am – 5:30pm. These 3 days are required
- Tuesday and Thursday ideally 12:00pm – 5:00pm, however, they are flexible on these two days
- They are open to offering 30 to 40 hours per week depending on the needs of their new nanny
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Childcare Related Responsibilities:
- All comprehensive child care – healthy meals and snacks
- Researching, planning, taking children to activities each day
- Engaging the children and keeping them on task as needed, creative activities
- All activities, driving to and from, dance, sports, etc.
- Strong focus on developmental educational activities
- Help with all things related to the children, organizing, cleaning up, bath time,
- Maintaining the children’s areas and ensuring all items are stocked and organized
Household Related Responsibilities:
- Cleaning up after self and children
- Load/ unload the dishwasher
- Taking out the trash/recycling as needed
- Making sure all child areas are organized/tidy as needed
- Family laundry and linens, sheets, towels etc.
- Packing and unpacking for travel
- Organizational tasks
- Keeping up with grocery and lists of items needed, running errands
- Family does have a housekeeper for deep cleaning

- Strong swimmer, someone capable of swimming with the children
Considerations:
- Travel: Family will be traveling on occasion and they would like their nannies to be available to go with them as needed. Plenty of notice will be given
- Overnights will be required a few times per year when parents travel
- Pets – No pets currently, family may get a dog in the next few years
- Length of commitment – One year to start, ideally very long term, 2 to 3 years!!!
- COVID-19: This family requires a nanny who is vaccinated for Covid-19 and being cautious and following the CDC guidelines in efforts to minimize risk and exposure to the virus.
