Family Summary:

The Nanny Joynt is happy to introduce you to this wonderful family of 4!  This family has two amazing children, care will mainly be for their 2-year-old little girl as their 9.5-year-old son will be in school full time during the day. Their 2-year-old daughter is a very happy child and loves to play, read, be active, and learn new things.  The ideal nanny for this position will be patient and very calm while caring for their children. Their 9-year-old son is very self-sufficient and driven with his school work and is a great student  He is very smart and such a sweet boy. Both parents work full time, Dad is in Yuma working at their dental practices 4 days during the week, so he is not around a lot while the nanny is in the home.  Mom works full time for the practice in her home office and one full day at the practice.  During the day she stays in her office to work and does not interfere with the nanny caring for their daughter. They would love to find a wonderful nanny who is engaging, educational based, very committed, with a very calm temperament, someone who does not get flustered easily, someone who is extremely reliable, very gentle with their approach, extremely SAFE, and very aware.  You should be able to meet all of the needs of the children and be flexible to do things the way the parents prefer.  Their ideal nanny will love to play with their daughter and genuinely enjoy spending time with her each day. This family is open-minded, hard-working, and believes in good karma. You will be treated with respect and as a member of their family.  

This position is offering $18 – $20 per hour with 24 paid sick hours and guaranteed hours, as well as a Christmas and Birthday bonus!  

The schedule options for this position will be:

  • Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 10:00 am until 5:00 pm
  • Tuesday: 6:00am – 5/6pm
  • The long day could vary but is typically on Tuesday as mom goes to Yuma to work in their practice

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Childcare Related Responsibilities:

  • Feeding, facilitating a healthy schedule
  • Making meals, lunches, snacks
  • Driving son to and from school as needed
  • Helping their daughter meet developmental milestones
  • Playing/reading, teaching new skills and going for nature walks, planning activities, outings, arts and crafts
  • Outings to the library, music class, zoo, etc once COVID is no longer an issue
  • Potty training
  • Children’s laundry
  • Maintaining the children’s areas and ensuring items are stocked and organized

Household Related Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning up after self and children
  • Washing all sippy cups/bottles, dishes, utensils for children
  • Load/ unload the dishwasher each day
  • Taking out the trash if needed
  • Cleaning highchair, counters, floor after meals
  • Making sure all child areas are organized/tidy as needed
  • Organizational tasks pertaining to children

Nannies, this family is very warm and close-knit!  They love the outdoors and love watching movies together.  They also love to host friends and have them over for dinners. They are active, fun, love to travel, hike, and always have dinner together as a family.  They are so excited to meet their new nanny who will enjoy taking care of their little princess, while both parents are working hard to create a safe and better future for their children!
