Executive Housekeeper Summary:

The Nanny Joynt is so happy to be partnering with a wonderful returning family seeking a full-time experienced Executive Housekeeper.  This person will have a “take charge” personality to elevate industry standards for cleaning, organization, daily graces, zoning, seasonal projects, scheduling, training, and oversight of housekeeping staff. The ability to create and maintain a service standards manual and work with onsite maintenance personnel in the coordination of regular maintenance throughout the property is required. You will be very proactive, and intuitive and will have a no job is too small attitude. A love of cleaning, organization and an eye for detail is required!  The primary would love a candidate who will focus on keeping the home looking its best and someone who will be a team player in their fully staffed household. The ideal candidate will understand that every day won’t be the same and you should be very flexible if plans change. You should also be warm, positive, and willing to help out wherever needed.

This position is offering $30 – $35+ per hour with guaranteed hours, vacation time, sick time and paid holidays, health insurance, and other benefits.

The schedule for this position will be:

  • Monday through Friday 9:00am until 5:00pm
  • Some flexibility with hours is required for this position
  • Occasional weekends as needed

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Household Related Responsibilities:

  • Deep cleaning the home kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, windows, floors all areas
  • Load/ unload the dishwasher, wash dishes as needed
  • Taking out the trash/recycling
  • Helping with events as needed
  • Make sure all areas are organized/tidy
  • Meal preparation if needed
  • Errands, receiving packages, shopping, dry cleaning
  • Making sure all maintenance items are taken care of around the house
  • General ability to see what needs to be done and can complete those tasks
  • Working closely with all staff and managing housekeeping staff

Requirements:

  • Experienced, highly proactive, intuitive, and timely
  • Experience cleaning large homes over 20,000 sq ft
  • Love of cleaning and organization
  • Ability to take initiative, someone who can see what needs to be done
  • Able to work well alone with little direction
  • Maintaining health and safety in the home
  • Ability to think quickly and anticipate needs
  • Honesty and open communication, integrity
  • Professional, considerate, kind
  • Flexible if plans should change during each day

Considerations:

  • Pets – No pets in the home
  • Length of commitment – One year to start, ideally 3 to 5 years
  • COVID-19: This family is not requiring the Covid vaccine
